Toon Parties Released!!!
What are Toon Parties?
Toon Parties is the newest addition to Toontown, where players can have parties filled with crazy activities and wacky decorations with up to 20 Toons! Visit any neighborhood Party Gate (the big party hats), and walk right up to the stairs to see what public parties are happening, or talk to a Party Planner to create your own party. Along with Toon Parties, there is also an in-game clock set to Toontown Time, in-game party invitations, and a calendar system to help keep your busy schedule in order.

What are the Party Gates?
Each Toontown Neighborhood has a huge party hat holding balloons and sparklers. These are the Party Gates, where Toons can check out what Toontastic public parties are happening, or plan a party! Each gate has a clock set to Toontown Time, so you always know when the next party is happening.

Toon Tip: If the Party Gate you are using is too busy, you should go to a quieter Neighborhood or District as all Party Gates are linked together.

What is Toontown Time?
Toontown now has an in-game clock set to Pacific Time. Clocks are located at each Party Gate, and in your Shticker Book. Now you can easily coordinate your parties and other fun activities with your friends!

How do I host a Toon Party?
At this time, only Members can host a Toon Party, but all Toons -- Members and Free players -- can attend a party. To get started, visit any Party Gate, and talk to a Party Planner Toon who will walk you through the process. The initial cost to create a party is 100 jellybeans. There are many activities and decorations available to rent -- so you can plan the perfect Toon Party!

Item Jellybeans
Clock 100 (required)
Dance Floor 500
Jukebox 100
Cannons 50 Each
Trampolines 50 Each
Balloon Anvil 50 Each
Cake 50 Each
Party Castle 50 Each
Gift Pile 50 Each
Streamer Horn 50 Each

The first step is to design your party by renting activities and decorations, then adding these to your party grounds map. Move items around the party grounds with your mouse, or drag each item directly to the map. Don't worry if you change your mind about any selected items, you can always drag them from the map to the garbage can to remove them for a full refund.

Toon Tip: Being creative with your party layout is half the fun!

Once your have designed your party layout, you can choose to make your party public (open to all) or private (just for your invited friends.) Next, you can pick a day for your party in the Toon Calendar, and then the time using the Toontown Time clock.

Toon Tip: Selecting the "As Soon As Possible" button will bypass the calendar selection, and have your party start within the next few minutes.

You're almost done! If you chose a private party your final step is to select an invitation to send to your friends. The maximum number of Toons allowed at a party is 20. If you chose a public party, then you can confirm your party, and close the planner to return to Toontown.

Toon Tip: If you must cancel your party for any reason, you will receive a refund of 95% of the cost.

When it is time for your party to start, you will receive an in-game whisper alert. You can click on that whisper to open your Shticker Book's Events page (or go directly to your Shticker Book) and click the "Start Party!" button on the Hosting tab to get the party started!

How do Party Invitations work?
Party invitations are received through your Toon's Estate mailbox. When you receive an invitation you have three options: You can accept the invitation, decline the invitation, or choose to respond later by simply closing the invitation and leaving it in your mailbox. The host will be notified of your response once you have made your choice to either accept or decline the invitation.

Toon Tip: If you decline the invitation but change your mind later, you cannot be sent another invitation! You'll have to make sure to be online to teleport to your host friend once their party has started.

How do I attend a Private Toon Party?
To attend a private party you must accept the invitation in your mailbox before the party starts. Once you have accepted an invitation, the party details are added to your Calendar on the Invitations tab in your Shticker Book Events page. When the private party has begun all invited Toons that are online will receive a notification whisper. To attend the party you can either teleport to the host, or select it on the Invitations tab in your Shticker Book Events page and click the "Go to Party!" button.

How do I attend a Public Toon Party?
Anyone can attend a public party. To get started, visit a Party Gate and walk up to the entry stairs for a list of all public parties happening across all Districts. The public party list will show each party by host name plus the number of Toons currently in the party, the number of activities, and the time remaining. The activities list shows the type and number of activities at the selected party. When you have selected a public party you wish to attend, just press the "Go To Party!" button to teleport to the party.

Toon Tip: If you accepted an invitation to a public party, you can also use the "Go to Party!" button on the Invitations tab in your Shticker Book Events page to teleport to the party.

The Toon Party Shticker Book Page
The Shticker Book has a new Events page which is where all of your Toon's party information is located. The Events page tab is noted with a party hat icon, and is the last page in your Shticker Book. The Events page has three sections.

  • Calendar Tab - The Toon Calendar lists all weekly events, Toon holidays, and any parties that you are attending or are hosting. You can use the filter in the upper-right corner to change what the Calendar will display.
  • Hosting Tab - The Hosting tab show your next party by date, guests, activities, and decorations. You can also switch your party from private to public here. This is where you go to start your party, or cancel it provided the party hasn't already started.
  • Invitations Tab - The Invitations tab lists all parties where you have accepted invitations along with each party's activities.
Toon Tip: When you hold your mouse over a party in the calendar, it shows more details.
