The Toon Council would like to send a big thank you to all the Toons who sent in a Toontown-themed Halloween poem. It was a real treat reading each spooktacular entry -- with the lights on, of course! Please join us in congratulating the ghoulishly delightful winners of a Disney Oogie Boogie Candy Dish!

Goblins, ghosts, vampires and witches,
Bean Counters, Raiders and corporate snitches!
Who is scarier, it's tough to say,
At least Toontown is fun to play!
Anvils, lures, traps and pies,
Beware of the ones with creepy eyes!
Boo! This poem is almost through,
Ghosts and Toons - so much fun for you!

On one Toontown Halloween night,
In the sky the moon shined very bright.
My Toon friends dressed up like the Cogs in our game,
Each of us assumed one of their names.
I was Mr. Hollywood Leroy Big Cheese,
We were going to bring the Cogs to their knees.
Much to our surprise we all felt like goons,
Cuz those Cogs had gone and dressed up like our Toons.

One night, every year, on the Toontown streets,
All the Toons run around, looking for treats.
Black cats in the making, pumpkin heads here and there,
The Halloween spirit of Toontown is everywhere!
So when you're done Trick-or-Treating outside for fun,
What will you do when you come back, and are done?
Why, just log on to Toontown, surprises in store,
And when it's done, do not fret, for next year there'll be more!

There were eight Toons who went Trick-or-Treating,
They all got a lot of candy that they were eating.
They went to a street called Lighthouse Lane,
And they saw a Toon who used a big train.
One of them realized that they had to head home,
And then he knew that he was alone.
He was heading home to his comfortable bed,
Then he looked in a mirror and saw that he had a pumpkin head.

There once was a Toon named Funny Fred,
Who went Trick-or-Treating with a pumpkin head.
He knocked on door by door,
From the first to number four.
When he was done, Funny Fred looked inside his bag,
On the top was a simple gag.
It was a Whole Cream Pie,
And Funny Fred let it fly!

Fellow Toons, it's time for us to unite,
And keep our Town safe on Halloween night.
Let's dish out some tricks rather than treats,
As the Cogs, in force, take to the streets.
Forget about collecting candy in a bag,
Focus instead on your favorite gag.
The Cogs out there better just beware,
For the Toons of this Town don't easily scare.

What should I be for Halloween?
Such a tough decision!
A pig? A horse? A dog or cat?
I ponder, as I go fishin'.
While catching dog fish, balloon fish, and catfish galore,
I fish and scratch my noodle.
When suddenly it occurs to me, I'll dress up as my Doodle!

Halloween in Toontown...
There's nothing to fear!
The Cogs dread this time,
To their innermost gear.
The reason they hate it,
Is why Toons think it's sweet...
The Cog gets the trick,
While the Toon gets the treat
